Recording walk-in appointments

You can book same-day appointments for patients who walk-in to your clinic.

Recording walk-in appointments on a mobile

You can't do this on a mobile.

Recording walk-in appointments on a desktop

1. From  Outpatients > Calendar > , select a clinic and view today.

2. Right-click on an appointment slot.

3. Select Book walk-in.

4. Select the type of appointment.

   For example, a follow-up consultation.

5. Search for the patient.

6. Select the patient.

7. Select an episode of care.

8. Select Book walk-in.

9. Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.

   Mandatory fields are marked .

10. Select Confirm appointment.

11. To not send the letters, select None.

12. Select Send.

13. The appointment appears in Patient admin > Show pathways > Appts > Booked Future Appointments.

14. The appointment's status is 'Appointment booked'.
